Gathering & Compression
Antero Midstream has approximately 152,000 gross acres in the Utica Shale dedicated for Antero Resources for gathering and compression as of December 31, 2016. Based on drilling results and initial production from Antero Resources’ core area Utica Shale wells, Antero Resources believes that the Utica Shale also offers some of the most attractive single-well rates of return of all North American conventional and unconventional plays.
In 2015, Antero Resources managed 55 miles of low-pressure pipeline and 36 miles of high-pressure pipeline in the Utica Shale. By year-end 2016, we expect to expand our Utica Shale gathering system to 92 miles of low- and high-pressure pipeline, 19 miles of condensate pipeline, and to have grown our Utica compression to 120 MMcf/d.
- Areas of Operation: Belmont, Guernsey, Monroe, and Noble counties.
- 56 miles of low-pressure pipeline by year-end 2016.
- 36 miles of high-pressure pipeline by year-end 2016.
- 120 MMcf/d compression capacity by year-end 2016.
