Paul M. Rady
Chairman and CEO
Paul M. Rady has served as Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Antero Midstream Corporation since the closing of its simplification transaction in March 2019. Prior to the simplification, Mr. Rady served as Chief Executive Officer of the general partner of Antero Midstream GP LP beginning in January 2017 and as Chairman of the Board of Directors of such entity beginning in April 2017. Mr. Rady also previously served as Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the general partner of Antero Midstream Partners LP beginning in February 2014. Mr. Rady was a co-founder and has served as Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Antero Resources Corporation since May 2004 and of its predecessor company from its founding in 2002 to its ultimate sale to XTO Energy, Inc. in April 2005. Prior to Antero Resources Corporation, Mr. Rady served as President, CEO and Chairman of Pennaco Energy from 1998 until its sale to Marathon in early 2001. Prior to Pennaco, Mr. Rady was with Barrett Resources from 1990 until 1998 where he initially was recruited as Chief Geologist in 1990, then served as Exploration Manager, EVP Exploration, President, COO and Director and ultimately CEO. Mr. Rady began his career with Amoco where he served 10 years as a geologist focused on the Rockies and Mid-Continent. Mr. Rady is the managing member of Salisbury Investment Holdings, LLC. Mr. Rady holds a B.A. in Geology from Western State College of Colorado and M.Sc. in Geology from Western Washington University.
Michael N. Kennedy
Director and SVP – Finance; CFO of Antero Resources
Michael N. Kennedy has served as Chief Financial Officer of Antero Midstream Corporation and Senior Vice President of Finance of Antero Resources since January 2016. He previously served as Vice President of Finance from August 2013 to December 2015. Mr. Kennedy was Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Forest Oil Corporation from 2009 to 2013. From 2001 until 2009, Mr. Kennedy held various financial positions of increasing responsibility within Forest. From 1996 to 2001, Mr. Kennedy was an auditor with Arthur Andersen focusing on the Natural Resources industry. Mr. Kennedy holds a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
Brendan E. Krueger
CFO, VP – Finance and Treasurer
Brendan Krueger has served as Vice President of Finance of Antero since April 2018. In addition to his current role, he has served as Treasurer since December 2019. Mr. Krueger previously served as Antero’s Finance Director from 2016 to 2018 and Antero’s Finance Manager from 2014 to 2016. Prior to joining Antero, Mr. Krueger spent seven years as an investment banker focused on equity and debt financing and M&A advisory with Robert W. Baird & Co., Wells Fargo Securities, and A.G. Edwards, Inc. from 2007-2014. Mr. Krueger earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Notre Dame.
Alvyn A. Schopp
Chief Administrative Officer and Regional SVP
Alvyn A. Schopp has served as Regional Senior Vice President since January 2016 and as Chief Administrative Officer and Treasurer since October of 2013. He previously served as Regional Vice President beginning in October 2013 and as Vice President of Accounting and Administration and Treasurer beginning in January 2005. Mr. Schopp also served as Controller and Treasurer from 2003 to 2005. From 2002 to 2003, Mr. Schopp was an Executive Financial Consultant with Duke Energy Field Services. From 1993 to 2000, Mr. Schopp was CFO, Director and ultimately CEO of T-Netix. From 1980 to 1993 Mr. Schopp was with KPMG LLP. As a Senior Manager with KPMG, he maintained an extensive energy and mining practice. Mr. Schopp holds a B.B.A. from Drake University.
Yvette K. Schultz
General Counsel, Vice President – Legal and Secretary
Yvette K. Schultz has served as the General Counsel and Vice President of Legal since January 2017. Ms. Schultz was previously Antero’s Director of Legal from 2015 to 2017. Prior to joining Antero, Ms. Schultz was an attorney at Vinson & Elkins LLP from 2008 to 2012 and at Latham & Watkins LLP from 2012 to 2015, where her practice focused on domestic and international energy transactions, with a primary emphasis on mergers, acquisitions and joint ventures. Ms. Schultz earned her B.S. degree magna cum laude in Computer Science from the University of South Dakota in 2004 and her M.B.A. degree from the University of South Dakota in 2005. She also attended the Paul M. Hebert Law Center at Louisiana State University where she graduated valedictorian and earned both her J.D. and B.C.L. degrees summa cum laude in 2008.
Brian A. Kuhn
SVP - Land
Brian A. Kuhn has served as Senior Vice President of Land for Antero Resources since January 2016. He previously served as Vice President of Land from 2002 to 2015. Mr. Kuhn was the head of the Denver land department in 2001 and 2002 for Marathon Oil. From 1998 until its sale to Marathon in early 2001, Mr. Kuhn was the Vice President of Land for Pennaco Energy in which he acquired over 650,000 net acres in the Powder River Basin. From 1993 to 1998, Mr. Kuhn was a Division landman focused on the Rockies and Mid-Continent areas for Barrett Resources. Mr. Kuhn was also a landman for 13 years for Amoco in Denver. Mr. Kuhn holds a B.B.A. from the University of Oklahoma.
Steven M. Woodward
SVP - Business Development
Steven M. Woodward has served as Senior Vice President of Business Development since January 2016. He previously served as Vice President of Business Development from 2005 to 2015. Mr. Woodward also served as Vice President of Business Development of our predecessor company, Antero Resources Corporation, from 2002 until its ultimate sale to XTO Energy, Inc. in April 2005. From 1993 to 2002, Mr. Woodward served in various business development roles in the US and Canada for Dynegy Inc. and its predecessor companies, Natural Gas Clearinghouse and NGC Corp. From 1990 to 1992, Mr. Woodward served as Manager of Business Development for Reliance Pipeline, a division of Nicor Inc. From 1988 to 1990, Mr. Woodward served as a Project Development Representative for Western Gas Resources. From 1981 to 1988, Mr. Woodward served in various engineering roles with ARCO Oil & Gas Company, a division of Atlantic Richfield. Mr. Woodward holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from University of Colorado at Boulder.
W. Patrick Ash
SVP -- Reserves, Planning & Midstream
W. Patrick Ash has served as Vice President of Reservoir Engineering and Planning since December 2017. Prior to joining Antero, Mr. Ash was at Ultra Petroleum for six years in management positions of increasing responsibility, most recently serving as Vice President, Development. In this position he led the reservoir engineering, geoscience, and corporate engineering groups. From 2001-2011 Mr. Ash served in engineering roles at Devon, NFR Energy and Encana. Mr. Ash holds a B.S. in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University and a MBA from Washington University in St. Louis.

VP – Human Resources and Administration
John Giannaula has served as Vice President of Human Resources and Administration since January 2017. Mr. Giannaula was previously Antero’s Director of Human Resources and Administration from 2008 to 2016. From 2002 to 2008, Mr. Giannaula was a partner with Trinity Capital Services, focusing on the consulting for energy and family owned businesses. From 2000 to 2002, Mr. Giannaula was Corporate Controller for Qwest Digital Media and from 1994 to 2000, he was Vice President of Finance for T-Netix, Inc., a telecommunications company. Mr. Giannaula started his career at KPMG in 1984 and rose to the level of Senior Manager in 1991. Mr. Giannaula holds a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Colorado.
Aaron S. G. Merrick
VP – Information Technology
Aaron S. G. Merrick has served as Vice President of Information Technology since December 2016. Prior to joining Antero, Mr. Merrick served Apache Corporation as Vice President of Information Technology from 2009 to 2015, and as Director of Information Technology from 2006 to 2009. Prior to Apache Corporation, he was President of Merrick Applied Consulting, Inc. from 2005 to 2006, and owner of Aaron Merrick Computer Consulting from 2002 to 2005. He served as a Director and ultimately Vice President of T-NETIX, Inc., a specialized telecommunications company, from 1995 to 2000. Mr. Merrick also served Apache Corporation as Assistant Director of Gas Flow Management from 1991 to 1994. From 1984 to 1990, he was with KPMG Peat Marwick, an independent public accounting firm. Mr. Merrick holds a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Bob Jones University and is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive) in Colorado.
Troy R. Roach
VP - Health, Safety and Environment
Troy E. Roach has served as Vice President of Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) since October 2014. Prior to joining Antero, Mr. Roach served as Vice President of HSE at Key Energy Services from 2012 to 2014. From 2009-2012, Mr. Roach served as the Americas Regional Safety Manager for Lloyd’s Register Americas. Prior to Lloyd’s Register, Mr. Roach served in a variety of positions of increasing responsibility at CGGVeritas, Geokinetics and Eagle Geophysical Onshore, Inc. He is an active member of the American Society of Safety Engineers and is a Certified Occupational Safety Specialist (COSS) and Petroleum Safety Manager (PSM). Mr. Roach is acting President and Special Events Coordinator for The Humble Heroes Foundation, a military-based charity. Mr. Roach holds a bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety and Health from Columbia Southern University.
Robert H. Krcek
VP -- Midstream Operations
Robert Krcek has served as Vice President of Midstream since February 2018. He previously served as Director of Midstream Operations for Antero since September 2016. Prior to joining Antero, Mr. Krcek worked for CONSOL Energy as General Manager of Midstream Operations from 2012 to 2016 and previously held roles as Senior Production Engineer and Production Manager of WV Marcellus Operations. Mr. Krcek began his career in 1988 holding various field and operational related positions before transitioning to Dominion (E&P) where he worked from 1998 to 2010 as a Well and Facility Operator, Field Technician, Production Coordinator and Reservoir Engineer. Mr. Krcek holds a B.S. degree in Environmental Science with a minor in Chemistry and Biology from Lake Superior State University and a Master’s Degree in Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering from West Virginia University.
Timothy J.C. Rady
VP - Land
Timothy JC Rady was appointed Vice President of Antero Resources’ Land Department in March of 2018 after successfully serving as Director of Antero’s Land Operations from 2014 to 2017. Prior to that, Mr. Rady held various Landman titles while working for Antero since he started with the company in 2006. During his career with Antero, Mr. Rady has been responsible for building and managing operations and prospect areas in the Arkoma Woodford play in Oklahoma and the Marcellus shale play in Pennsylvania and West Virginia. Prior to joining Antero, Mr. Rady worked for Frost & Sullivan in London, England from 2004 to 2006. Mr. Rady is a member of the Advisory Board for the Energy Management Program at Western State Colorado University. Mr. Rady holds a BA Business Administration from Western State Colorado University, an International MBA from EADA School of Business, and an MSc Information Management & Finance from the University of Westminster.
Maria Wood Henry
VP - Geology
Maria Henry has served as Vice President of Geology at Antero Resources since June 2018. Prior to joining Antero, Ms. Henry was Vice President of Subsurface Assets and Technology at Raisa Energy from 2015 to 2018 where she led a multi-disciplinary team responsible for projects across active U.S. plays including DJ, Permian, Williston and Anadarko basins. Maria was Geology Manager at WPX Energy from 2013 to 2015 directing exploration and business development projects for Western North America with a focus on unconventional opportunities. During her years running HGC, Inc. from 1999 to 2012, she was equity partner in two internationally-focused operations and served on the Board of Directors for Fram Exploration. Her career experience includes eleven years at BP Amoco working both conventional and unconventional projects world-wide in progressive technical roles. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Geology from the University of Texas at Austin and a Master of Science in Geology from Colorado State University. Maria brings her enthusiasm for the energy business to her volunteer work as a director for the Denver Explorer’s Club and as a mentor for the Denver Petroleum Club.
Justin B. Fowler
VP - Gas Marketing & Transportation
Justin Fowler has served as Vice President of Gas Marketing & Transportation since January 2019. Prior to joining Antero in 2011, Mr. Fowler worked for Marubeni - Mieco Corporation focused on building proprietary marketing, LNG export strategies and asset optimization trades in the U.S. natural gas market. Mr. Fowler was with United Energy Trading from 2005-2009 acting as Director of Marketing & Trading, developing power generation and utility end user client business strategies. Justin also gained extensive commodity and risk experience in the Northeast & Canadian regions at Aquila Merchant Energy for a three year period utilizing firm transportation assets, firm storage, and managing the end user options book of business. Justin holds a B.A. in International Business from Friends University and earned a degree in German from Wichita State University.
David A. Cannelongo
VP - Liquids Marketing & Transportation
David A. Cannelongo, Vice President of Liquids Marketing & Transportation, has served as Vice President of Liquids Marketing and Transportation since December of 2018. Mr. Cannelongo previously served the company in roles as Director and Manager of Oil and NGL Marketing since 2014. Prior to joining Antero, Mr. Cannelongo worked for Marathon Petroleum Corporation from 2004 to 2014 in various refined products marketing, biofuels, asset optimization and crude trading roles of increasing responsibility. Mr. Cannelongo earned his BSBA in Marketing and Finance from The Ohio State University and holds an MBA from Bowling Green State University.
Michael L. Smith
VP – Logistics and Cost Management
Michael Smith has served as Vice President of Logistics and Cost Management since December 2019. Prior to joining Antero, Mr. Smith was at US Silica, a public producer of industrial sands and oil & gas fracturing proppants and held numerous positions of increasing responsibility from 2011-18, most recently serving as the Director of Oil & Gas Sales. Prior to this, Mr. Smith worked at Halliburton from 2009-2011 and also from 2002-2006 in numerous engineering, sales, and management roles. Mr. Smith also worked for Caterpillar from 2006-2009, leading a corporate cost reduction team and becoming a Six Sigma Blackbelt during this time. Mr. Smith holds a B.S. in Agricultural and Biological Engineering from Purdue University and a MBA from the University of Nebraska.
Jon S. McEvers
VP – Completions
Jon S. McEvers, Vice President of Completions, has served as Vice President since January 2021. Mr. McEvers started with Antero in 2013 as the Drilling Manager and transitioned to the Operations Manager over the Marcellus in 2016. After serving as the Director of Completions Mr. McEvers was promoted to the Vice President position. Prior to joining Antero, Mr. McEvers worked independently for multiple operators providing project management primarily in the Bakken, Powder River & DJ as those basins began developing into today’s shale plays. Mr. McEvers earned his BS Civil Engineering degree from the University of North Dakota School of Mines.
Sheri L. Pearce
VP – Accounting and Chief Accounting Officer
Sheri Pearce has served as the Vice President of Accounting of Antero since December 2020 and as the Chief Accounting Officer of Antero since May 2020. Ms. Pearce previously served as the Director of SEC Reporting from November 2018 to May 2020. Prior to joining Antero, Ms. Pearce worked as an independent consultant after retiring from KPMG LLP in March 2015. Ms. Pearce was an audit partner with KPMG where she principally served publicly traded clients in the energy and mining industries for 25 years. Ms. Pearce joined KPMG in 1990 and was elected to the partnership in 2000. Ms. Pearce earned her Master of Accountancy and BSBA-Accounting from the University of Denver-Daniels College of Business.
Robert S. Odenthal
VP – Drilling
Robert has served as Antero’s Vice President of Drilling since January 2021. Prior to his current role, he served as the Director of Drilling. Robert has over 30 plus years of experience internationally and domestically, onshore and offshore in designing, managing, and executing various drilling, completion, and well intervention operations. The majority of his career has been with BP and Royal Dutch Shell in various technical and leadership roles. Robert holds a B.S. in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Tulsa and an M.S. in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin.
Matthew L. Thomas
VP – Risk Management
Matthew has served as Antero’s Vice President of Risk Management since January 2021. Mr. Thomas was Antero’s Director of Internal Audit and Compliance from 2018 to 2021. Prior to joining Antero Mr. Thomas was with BG Group for eleven years and held various roles including leading Corporate Governance for BG Group from BG’s UK headquarters. Mr. Thomas also held various risk and internal audit roles with Deloitte and Touche and Arthur Andersen. He is a Certified Internal Auditor and a Certified Fraud Examiner. He has a BA degree in Finance from Texas A&M University.
